Accreditation

Al Yasat Private School is fully accredited by AdvancED, a leading group committed to continuous improvements.

The accreditation process is a vehicle that enables schools to improve student learning and school performance based on an analysis of those strengths and limitations. The American Common Core Standards have been adopted to ensure a rigorous curriculum is in place with on-going thorough assessment of students’ attainment and progress.

This is complemented by full provision for lessons in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies (for our Muslim students) and UAE Social Studies/Civics to meet the requirements of the UAE Ministry of Education.

As an American curriculum, all-inclusive, community school we offer an enriched and exciting educational provision in order to develop well-rounded global citizens who are able to embrace the demands of the 21st century.

There is a range of curriculum subjects as well as an extensive range of co- and extra-curricular activities held at lunchtimes and after school.

We follow the US Common Core curriculum for English and Math, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science and the Virginia Curriculum for all other subjects.
